Exiprep 16DX (Bioneer)

Exicycler 96 Real Time Quantitative Thermal Block is the combination product of thermal cycling block and Bioneer‘s innovative module of detecting versatile flourescences.

It is optimized for measuring gene expression levels, detecting and quantitating pathogens, performing allelic discrimination (SNP genotyping) assays as well as scoring the presence of gene sequences.

Exispin (Bioneer)

The Exispin is a compact and convenient benchtop centrifuge combined with a powerful vortexer giving the essential reproducibility, enhanced reliability and excellent results. It has the functions of a vortexer as well as a microcentrifuge & significantly helps to save time in the lab. It is used for minipreps,to resuspend oligos, set up PCR reactions or any task that requires vortexing in micro test tubes or 0.2 ml PCR tubes.

CFX96 Real Time System

The CFX96 Touch System is a powerful, precise, and flexible real-time PCR detection system. This six-channel (five colors and one FRET channel) real-time PCR instrument combines advanced optical technology with precise temperature control to deliver sensitive, reliable detection for singlexplex or multiplex reactions. Quickly set up runs and monitor amplification traces in real time on the integrated LCD touch screen, or use the included CFX Maestro Software to easily and intuitively design your experiment and analyze results from a connected computer. With up to five-target detection, unsurpassed thermal cycler performance, unrivaled stand-alone functionality, and powerful yet easy-to-use software, the CFX96 Touch System is designed to advance your qPCR.

GENE XPERT

It works on a molecular level to identify “mycobacterium tuberculosis”. The Gene Xpert is a machine that can detect “mycobacterium tuberculosis” in a sample of sputum. A person suspected of having TB needs to give a sputum sample, which the health care worker than places in a small tube. From the tube, the sample is fed into the machine, and then biochemical reactions are started to see if the sample contains the TB bacterium. A big advantage of the Gene Xpert is that it can give very fast results. A person can know on the same day whether or not she has TB. It is also very important and good that the Gene Xpert can detect if the TB of the person is resistant to rifampicin. This is a good indicator that the patient might have multi-drug resistant (MDR) TB, which is defined as resistance to both rifampicin and isoniazid. If the health care worker knows from the start that the TB of a person is resistant to rifampicin, she can choose other drugs to treat the TB effectively.
